Elite Day Care Learning Center established in 2005, provides high-quality early childhood services for the community of Staten Island. Every year our agency which operates two day care centers, identifies and complies with expert standards and regulations. Our professional, certified teachers are dedicated to meeting all of their children’s early developmental needs while, managing optimal school settings. The entire establishment is confident and proud of the approaches and influences in which its children are engaged in. Great care is employed within the types of activities and interactions the children experience as well as, being within the health and safety provisions.
Our Philosophy
Elite Day Care Learning Center’s educational approach is child-oriented. Our educators believe that the most beneficial and favorable learning must be in accord with the student’s individuality. We advocate that each child is unique with various abilities, interests and characteristics. We encourage each of them to reach their full potential through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities performed in a supportive environment. Our teachers regularly engage in diagnostic and remedial instruction.
Elite Day Care’s teaching team strongly understands that children learn by examples and we take our responsibility seriously. We consistently display competent actions and mastered thinking skills. We know imitating is a key process that allows children to develop positive self-awareness. We recognize the importance of meaningful play as a means to exercise children’s needs in social-emotional, physical, creative expression and cognitive development. Our bi-lingual team is fully qualified to provide children from the Russian community with a smooth transition into better understanding and usage of the English language. All children regardless of race, culture, gender and capabilities are accepted and invited to participate.
